O comprehensive test ban (int"l agreement to stop all weapons testing) O fissile material cut-off treaty (prohibit further production of fissile material for nuclear weapons) Global partnership program (to help weapons programs creators find jobs) O ex to prevent soviet scientists, security guards of previous nuclear programs that are out of job and underpaid to going to places like iran and. O canada also played a large role in securing material and preventing it from falling into the wrong hands.
