What disinguishes human beings from other kinds of beings: a human being is a living being, human beings fall in the category of the biological and not inanimate, non-biological things. A human being is an animal: human beings are diferent from plants. But share much in common with animals. A human is diferent from a plant: humans have and use percepion, humans move around. There are animals that are not humans. Theory gives us examples of human traits that suggests one is a human being: emoions, imitaion, reason, use of tools, language, self-conscious, sense of beauty, belief in god, memory, imaginaion. Darwin claims that none of these suggesions difereniate humans from animals: some animals or other, even lesser animals like bugs have one or more of these traits.
