Document Summary

Ghg effect is the natural mechanism that retains heat emitted from the earth surface. Doubling co2 in the atmosphere would rise the earths average temperature. A range of different gases can act as a greenhouse gases. Common denominator is that they can absorb heat emitted from earth and reemit it. Discussion about the anthropogenic greenhouse effect is mostly concentrated on the so-called long-lived green house gases. Most important ones are co2, methane, nitrous dioxide. Global warming is the process by which the solar radiation passes through the atmosphere and is absorbed by the surface and reradiated back into the atmosphere. Climate change change in temp because of earths warming. Global scientific consensus that continued emissions of greenhouse gases will warm the earth. Developing countries are going to need to develop differently. Any action that reduces or stops emission. Adaptation is how are we going to adapt to changes we are heavily focused on mitigation.
