Emotional reactions are subjective: memory- subjective and made up. People who are depressed, they will only remember negative things. It continues to shape in an artificial way our self concept. subliminal stimuli: picture of a naked women then flash a frowning pope. They feel ashamed: limited self- insight, we see ourselves as how we appear to others and how we perceive others see us, we pay little attentions to others in relation to how much we think of ourselves. Medical students were asked to predict their own marks. 2: predicting our feelings: asked people to keep a mood journal.
