What someone is really live -> cues -> your judgement. The cues that you see have to be relevant to the trait you want to judge. We need a situation to let out a trait-specific behavior. If something is happening internally it is not available to you. Frequency idea: some ques happen but not very often. You need to see it and utilize it correctly. Cue validation - which cues are actually related to what we are forming.
