Bailey scale: maps out milestones you should reach by certain ages. Expressive disorder: inability to properly produce spoken speech. Mixed expressive-receptive: not being able to speak properly and understand language properly. Phonological: inability to clearly/properly pronounce words in speech. People who stutter can be taught not to. A lot of these disorders spontaneously remit. Profound lack of social interaction since only about half of children with autism will develop speech. Thought to have been an intelligence disorder (but tests based on by a social interactions and speech)
