Document Summary

A lot of research in this field is longitudinal research. Do early experiences lease irreversible effects: they usually focus on negative effects. Lots of money go into early childhood education; neuroplasticity takes place at that time because brain is very young and plastic and if things are not done right, it will leave irreversible effects. Neuroses are only acquired during early childhood even though symptoms may not appear until much later: neuroses are anxieties and difficulties we have in adjusting. Some people have them much worse than others while other people are more easy-going. If a child has neurotic role model or if situations cause child to be neurotic then the child will be neurotic and this only happens in the childhood. The child is psychologically father to the man: father determines what the child is going to be like. The childhood is going to determine what adulthood is going to be like.
