Document Summary
Interrel"t concepts as socializaion takes place largely by parents w/i the context of the family. Family systems (char): family consists of individual members. But also consist of rel"t b/w these members, all possible rel"t. This is a system: wholeness: the system is an org"z whole that more than the sum of its parts. It takes on a life unit, in integral ways the family func"t given how they work: integrity of subsystems: families composed of subs that are rel"t to each other. Then they also have rel"t w/ siblings, or mom to children or dad to children. Many subsys that rel"t and afect one another. If rel"t b/w mom and dad was poor, parents might be seeking all kinds of aciviies w/ children instead of one another. Or result in alliances b/w one parent and one child. End up not func"t as a whole but pairs of rel"t.
