If you look at what and how we know, they are incredibly biased and don"t capture humanity in a representative way. 68% of all ss in psychology are from us. Most of what we know comes from americans. Most research relies on western, educated and well off countries. Even more problematic is most psycho"l ss are undergrads. It is a matter of convenience that do not cost researchers anything.
