Document Summary

There"s a change in the way you see yourself. Gender identity disorder has been removed from dsm-5: it"s not a problem if it doesn"t match your genitals. Disorders in which you perceive a physical ailment when there"s no organic evidence to suggest that it is physical. Other disorders such as anxiety, mood disorders, and personality disorders often coexist. Psychosomatic disorders are different and are actually physical ailments caused by thoughts: stress induces ulcers. Must include: four different paint, two gastrointestinal symptoms, one sexual symptom, one pseudoneurological symptom. I feel faint, i"m going to be sick. Physical symptoms suggesting neurological problems: sensory impairment: any modality but no physical reason for it. Often thought to be brought on by stress. La belle indifference: 1/3 cases lack of concern, i cant see anymore but who cares. Some people have a very high vs very low tolerance for pain.
