Good and evil are names that signify our appetites, and aversions which in different tempers customs and doctrines of men are different. Morality in cross- cultural perspective: what is morality, a system of values and principles of conduct, allows classification of right and wrong , a moral implies an obligation, not simply convention. In pushtoon culture in afghanistan, men engage in sexual behaviour with dancing boys . It raises the question of what is moral and immoral if you hold an ethnocentrist viewpoint. If you are ethnocentric then what you think is moral and immoral may be different from others: ethnocentrism makes it difficult for people to objectively evaluate the morality of actions taken by individuals in other cultures. Emphasis on following the rules,and people need not ask questions about where the rules come from: even if something bad happens to you it is fine because it is moral, universally, there are adultswho reason at this level.
