Islam with capital i" : insituion of religion. When we talk of geneology we talk of islam. When we talk of poliical religion we talk of islam. When we talk of suism, not talking of one paricular thing or event; not easy to talk of: talked as mysical current of islam. To talk of islam must talk of all currents, branches. Coined by scholars to describe a range of teaching and pracises. Not a reality that can be easily put under umbrella of islam.
