The nuclear family basic idea of a family. A nuclear family in which the husband works outside the home for money and the wife works without pay in the home. Consists of a cohabitating man and women who maintain a socially approved sexual relationship and have at least one child. People are getting divorced, mixed families etc. The education and training takes longer than before. Being more focused on your career takes longer to get married. School can cause a lot of debt and don"t want to get married because of this. Social norms around sexuality has changed (sex before marriage: more divorces overall, but declining. Few people getting divorced: more women having children in their 30s. Again, education, training before marriage, e. g. the number of children per family has dropped below the replacement rate. 6. more couples without children than with: children leaving home at a later age, more lone-parent families, more people are living alone.
