Edwin lemert: label: usual a negative description to describe someone (i. e. gang members" or drug dealers", negatively describe and classify, membership in socially disapproved class: a negatively talked about group in societ, stigmatized routes: positive vs. negative roles, may de stigmatize overtime, gambler, homosexual.
