Abuse: genie wiley; a girl that was neglected from her parents and the world. She was held captive" in her house, and was not able to talk to anyone, not even her own parents, and so did not develop linguistic skills. Genie was locked away in her room be her parents until she was found at the age of 7. Multiple disorders came from this such as, she lacked in communication and was unable to talk due to mass amount of neglect. Victims of self-reported spousal violence within the past 5 years, by province, 2009. From the data, there are regional variations and gender differences of spousal violence. There are less people that report spousal violence even more less men that report it. Child and youth victims (0-17 y/o) of police- reported sexual offences with physical assault members, by sex and accused-victim. Approximately same amount of females and males are physically assaulted by the parent.
