The task force recommendations were based on ve principles: The aboriginal healing lodge opened in 1995 (okimaw ohci healing lodge in saskatchewan), speci c and unique programming was developed for women inmates, and there were plans set in motion to close the prison. This riot that happened in the women"s prison for 4 days.
