Provided households with red nets to put over bed, etc. to prevent mosquitos from biing people, Spent a lot of money on this project, a year later, they found that mortality rates didn"t decrease. Found that the nets were sill wrapped and put in a corner of their houses, not using them. Ngos realized that the colour red is considered colour of death, so they saw it as they are presening death, Instead got white nets, and the rates of malaria decreased dramaically.
