It attens the complexity for human interactions, its all uniform an ordered. There"s heterogeneity of social groups so there is too much variability in cultures within a society. There"s no creativity, people"s opinions are not being heard as they"re reduced to mechanical responses. They don"t try to make social changes, they like uniform. Synchronic (a moment in time) vs diachronic (change over time) They don"t ask how things came about because they deny evolutionary functionalism.
