We talk of morality in terms of debt that you have to repay it he says: debt is the wrong way to talk about morality; debt is the monetary relationship and should not be the moral one. Relationship/long-term sense of duty and obligation is what is wanted not money. Debt is a promise by one person to pay another a cert. amount of money; w/ certain condition; in future. All interactions b/w two humans are forms of exchange, if not even then there"s a debt.
