Writing Assignment: 15% of mark Due by Feb 7 latest Gender and Sex:  Sex and gender are not the same.  Gender is not biologically and naturally constructed.  Sex depends on genes and hormones.  Biological determinism: doesn’t matter what background, or time you come from man/ woman is man/woman.  Social constructionism: gender identity dependent on your cultural or social content. - Suggests we elaborate, define and mark what being a man or woman is. - Can very depending on time, culture and social influences. - Break emphasization.
