Document Summary
We get immediate speciation when there is polyploidy, chromosomal reording. There are many forces acting on evolution, but most of it is done through natural selection. These structures, even though they looking different come from the same embryonic tissue: the bones are homologous. The humours are the same, loos different because of adaption. Because of the conservation of the gene sequence and gene function there is this tool kit of genes that animals have which allow them to adapt and change. The changes can be small with large effects. Animal diversity is difference in form, leaves vs. hair, bone, eyes. It all comes down to how the organism developed. Every cell in my body has entire genome. There are cue that tells your body which gene to turn on. Most of this is done through the homeotic genes: not gene for development themselves, but tells your tissue what genes to express.
