Characteristics with a wide range of variation. Phenotypic expression of genes due to : might have: nature, nurture. Keep genetics constant and change the environment (ex. mendel"s breeding experiments) Therefore the expression of phenotypes it"s not only up to our genes. The problem with mendel"s experiment : variation in colour is due to nurture not nature therefore it"s not due to genetic variation.
