Meristematic cells: located on the meristem, a collective area of meristematic cells, primary => (shoot or sam) and (root or ram) meristems, secondary => everyone else, different purposes, different actions. Axm (auxiliary meristem) => dormant cells, waiting to be activated to grow later. Adm (advantageous meristem) => various locations, jack of all trades , leaves, away from branches, along shoots, etc. Vc (vascular cambium) => helps plant grow horizontally => stem thickness . => used for allowing the plant to make more roots horizontally. Ram: located at the very top of the plant. Super important => gives rise to any other cells needed: supported by embryonic and older leaves further down. Protected by peeling cells of the root cap: the root cells are abraised (or peeled off as they dig through the soil, rocks, and dirt to find nutrients, throwaway tissue .
