Aids: acquired immune deiciency syndrome, caused by hiv, can occur everywhere in your body. Treatments available to prevent onset of aids (posiive: many side-efects, not always efecive, require life-long medicaion. Aids accounts for 3. 1% of deaths worldwide > deaths from tb, respiratory cancers, or car accidents. Hiv does not atack any paricular group (gender, age) Unprotected sexual intercourse with an infected partner. Verical transmission (mother to child): utero; delivery; breast milk.
