Lahmu and lahamu make anshar and anu. Younger generations of gods annoys tiamat and apsu. Younger gods found out and ea convinced everyone to put a sleeping spell on apsu. Ea took apsus crown and killed him. Ea built dwelling on top of apsu and he became sweet water god. Ea rested in apsu with wife damkina and created marduk. Marduk was given 4 winds and played with them making tiamat restless. She decided to kill the younger gods for killing apsu. Other gods plotted with tiamat and made monsters to kill younger gods. Marduk and tiamat battle and tiamat dies and he creates world from her corpse. Older gods were happy at this creation and praised marduk. Marduk creates annunaki, 300 in sky, 300 on earth to create babylon. In babylon for marduk: lasted 12 days, around spring equinox, processions, celebrations. Mesopotamian gods: horned hats, enki/ea; water on shoulders, utu/shamash; sun god, ray of sun on shoulders.
