Diaspora is the idea of dispersal from homeland to another nation state whether voluntary or involuntary,  traditionally victim diaspora. The characteristics is the idea of dispersal globally, the idea of home. Migration of a group to multiple nation­states Collective myth about homeland, a commitment ot maintain it and desire to return  Sense of grievance and exile The definition of diaspora is broadened to economic incentives.  What is Tran nationalism? The flow and counter­flow of networks, idea, culture, and money globally.  Involves people who feel that they belong to and or organize their lives around more than one nation Emphasiz tangible and contemporary connections between people in societies of destination and origin Describe identities, relationships, exchanges, practices, and institutions that arise through transnational  migration Diasporas and
