The tragedy of commons- people are greedy, unregulated resources people waste. Resources which are unregulated, it takes less time to deplete resources, resource exploitation will continue if access to resources is unregulated. Eg- rapa nui, eastern island, tragedy of commons, used resources, small area and used too much, resources totally depleted because of excess usage. Env sc. - how the natural world works and how does it affects us and how we affect our environment. Interdisciplinary- comes from a lot of different aspects. Environmental degradation- because of the massive population, and excessive usage of resources. i=p*a*t*s a=how much money you have,(greater money to have a greater impact, and use more resources. ) eg-canada, america. Sensitivity- environments are sensitive than others to envt stress, Ecological footprints- area of land and water that is needed to support 1 person, eg- cutting wood to make house etc, We are consuming more resources than we should.
