Of world population growth and consumption (specifically, energy) Human ingenuity will see us through our environmental problems via new technologies and the such. We have not much to worry about. When it becomes a problem, we will figure it out through some sort of technology, but we ll be fine. Cassandra: mythical princess of troy who prophesized about dire future scenarios. All is lost because of our impact on the environment. Examples of practical solutions y big fixes in society. Development (i. e. , economic advancement through the use of natural resources) that meets the needs of the present without sacrificing the ability of future generations to meet their needs. (will be tested on!!! Amount of useable land that is required to sustain all of the resource use, waste issues, and general activities of one person in a country.
