Damage to the sensitive cells lining the inner part of the earth. Effects on hearing: tinnitus: ringing or other sound in the ears after exposure to loud noise, threshold shift: upward shift in threshold at which sound at certain frequency can be perceived. Rapidly growing aging population in canada: having more elderly, has a pressure on improving medical interventions. Elders spend more time indoors, especially when they have chronic diseases.
