Efects of environment on human health is so great. Air, water, soil, biota, manmade environment (created by society), noise. Your environment is your health (but it isn"t the only factor inluencing your health) Models of gene-environment interacion: geneic makeup increases exposure to an environmental risk factor, geneic makeup increases suscepibility to an environmental risk factor, geneic makeup and environmental factor are independent risk factors. According to who: in its broadest sense, environmental health comprises those aspects of human health, disease and injuries that are determined or inluenced by factors in the environment . This includes the study of both the direct and the indirect pathological efects of various: chemical, biological, physical (only man-made: such as housing, urban development, land use, and transportaion) .
