Spend most their time indoor, crawling and playing on floor (dust, pollutants, infectious agent, radon), playing on grass (pesticides, skin infections) The breathing zone for the adult is 4-6 feet above the floor or ground compared to children. B physiological differences between child and adult. More active than adult (eat more, drink more, breath more) Dermal adsorption higher ratio skin surface area to body weight than adult, skin is more permeable.
