What is environment: your surroundings, everything that has an impact on you. Biota and even the manmade environment created within society: the environment is one"s health, but its not the only factor that can in uence one"s health. For example, genetics is another very crucial factor for one"s health. Gene-environment interaction: genetic makeup increases exposure to an environmental risk factor. Someone people are more prone to get sick or obtain a disease: increases susceptibility to an environmental risk factor, both genetic makeup and environmental factors are independent risk factors. What is environmental health: environmental health comprises those aspects of human health, disease and injuries that are determined or in uenced by factors in the environment, according to. Who: this includes the study of both the indirect and direct pathological effects of chemical, biological and physical (man made) factors, this last one would include things like roads, housing, land use and transportation. A chemical hazard would be sulphur, mercury or gmos.
