Document Summary

Some general ideas about climate change in today"s lecture. Changing climate is nothing new, climate changed all the time in the history, concentration of chemical changed etc, what might be different is human activities that can speed up and cause the climate change. The lower parts of planet history we call them glaciations and big part of earth was under snow and ice. Peaks are called interglaciation periods, these parts of earth history were relatively brief whereas glaciations were longer, lot lot longer. Last ice age ended around 10,000 years ago and we have seen many big changes, in 14th century there was little ice age and the temperature increased again and starting 20th century temperature started increasing rapidly. Many people relate this with human activities because of release of gases into the air. Also green house gase that makes this planet warm.
