By 2050, most of world population will be in urban centers. Africa and asia urban population expected to grow significantly within the next 20-30 years. Late expanding-lower birth rates, improved medical care, fewer children needed. Low stationary-low birth rate, low death rate very good medical care, improving status of women, late marriages: declining - declining birth rate, low death rate. Took 10000 years to get world population to 1 billion. Increase in population comes at time where prevention of high state spending doesn"t allow for good infrastructure and public services (health systems, roads, streetlights etc. )
