Most things occurred in main land greece (modern greece) Modern day turkey (asia minor?) was a wealthy greek city: greek islands were wealthy as well, sicily and southern italy were also wealthy. The greeks did not limit themselves geographically. Material culture: physical items left behind: the use and how they used certain items. Aesthetic design is represented across the city states of greek.
