Public health is a component of medical care. Public health is looking at the health of the entire population/community. Not interested in individuals, but as a whole. With medical care, you can see the impact a lot easier. With public health because its focused on the community, the government makes the decisions. Medical care is more personalized, so the individuals make the decisions. Roof of the house- societal goals and values. Within the house, the rooms in the house describe the services provided by health care, Four rooms; providers; doctors, nurses, pharmacists, services; promotion, prevention, providers, services. Power that goes into the house= source of finance for the health care system. Methods of determining what they give, and the amount of finance given for health care.
