Our course right now can be divided into several courses according to what we are covering every week. Build awareness of social constructions of identities that uses deficit ideologies, and privileges and single stories to oppress, marginalize, and devalue. Privilege within the institution and society will continue unless challenged. It has to be a core component of our learning, so that schools challenge racism, sexism, homophobia attitudes and practices.
