Let"s talk about the 3c"s and the 4p"s. Consumer: children, parents: liberated, self expression importance of research . Lectures should complement the book not just repeat it. Learning takes place by sharing: class participation, group project and presentation. Karma" theory focus on learning not the grades. Familiarize you with marketing strategy: customer, company, competition. Introduce you to marketing tactics and elements of marketing mix: product, price, promotion, place. Use marketing process as a framework of looking at the world. Get you excited and interested about marketing. I follow the university guidelines the curve. (so the grading is not so tough after all). Hard work is necessary not sufficient. You need to understand the concepts and demonstrate that you can apply them. I don"t give you the grades you earn it. I have high expectations but i try to be fair. I am sure i can wing" it! If you are scared of work, you might want to rethink.
