Sensitivity to lack of fairness and to discrepancies in equitable treatment to ppl, due to the feminist movement and spokesppl for the mentally and physically challenged, for native ppl, and for minorities. Di was high during 1980 and 1990s and so was leisure time, so it allowed members to focus on issues beyond earning their livelihood.
