If two or more individuals conspire to damage someone"s business interests: the actions that cause the damage may be lawful or unlawful. If lawful, there may still be a tort if the primary purpose was the damage the plaintiff. It is not a tort to breach a contract, though it may result in damages and liability. It is a tort, however, to induce / encourage someone else to do so: the defendant must know of the contract, must intend to cause the breach. Need not be the primary intention: must actually the breach, and a loss must result. Deceit: there is also a general obligation to not lie and cause loss as a result, statement must be made. Failure to correct existing information: must be known to be false.
