Norman malcolm: 1911-1990, wrote a book about dreaming, proponent of the ontological argument for the existence of god. Start off article w/ old view about animals from descartes. Descartes: animals do not have minds, animals are automatons. Cat is staring at you after leaving her for so long. If human did that, can say they were planning revenge.
