It states that one must believe in a thing in order to know it. Even if the thing is true, and there is evidence that suggests it is true, you cannot know this without believing it. Truth then, says that if you know a thing, then it must be true. The final condition, justification, says that in order to actually know a thing, you cannot simply just believe in it, but instead, must have a good reason to know that it is so. If i see your school issued tcard, saying you go to uoft, i come to believe that you go to uoft and i can infer that you have a school account on the tcard.
