Nok empire (northern nigeria, 4th and 5th century) Sophisticated agriculture systems: india, china, peru (inca) Complex administrative structures i. e. if you"re a trade organizer you need to get it onto the ships etc. Provision of basic needs: sharing and obligation, no concept of private property i. e. brahamans the highest caste in sri lanka must provide needs to the lower caste as well. Imperialism: the policy and practice by which one state acquires dominance over other areas of the world. Wanted food, trade routes, and bullion (gold, silver)
