Climate change is a global problem" however there are many interpretations of how. This leads to multiple opinions of where and with whom the challenge of tackling climate change lies. Global nature of climate change comes from the physical nature of climate change as ghg emissions show no boundaries. It"s impossible for one nation to tackle climate change therefore a global solution is needed, usually in the form of cooperation between nation states to reduce climate change and stop free riding. Consideration of the production and consumption of ghg gases would suggest multinational corporations and consumers have more significance in ghg issue rather than where the goods are actually produced. E. g shell emits more than saudi arabia, Consideration of global" as a casual rather than a spatial category, there is a different direction in who governs climate change and where the governing takes place.
