Document Summary
Know who did it, what they did and when (create time table) Correlational research - what questions are worth further digging. Temptation forms causal relationship - look at 2 variables that are related and to think that 1 of them is causing the other. Ex. social-economic statements, if you"re tall you get better jobs. 1 = negative correlation - when one variable gets higher the other one gets lower. +1 = positive correlation - when one variable gets bigger so does the other one. Correlation means that there is something going on between the 2 variables and that temps you to create cause & effect . Correlation is not definitive between cause and effect, doesn"t tell you exactly what"s going on. Theory: people become more scared of others when they feel weak or insecure . The experiment: through random selection so there"s no systematic differences between groups.
