Dynamic culture is always changing, the culture that you experience is not the same as the culture your parents experienced: 2. Ethnicity: your cultural heritage; place of origin different from race. Identification: the degree to which you include group membership (i. e. your nationality) in your self- concept or sense of who you are. Just because you are one ethnicity or another, doesn"t mean that that heritage necessarily compels your behaviour, however, the more you identify with your heritage, the more it will shape your behaviour and recognition. Some argue that culture is a meaning system from which we get: symbols, language, experiences, myths, understanding of the world, metaphysics. Beliefs about the world, universe, & existence.
