Subjects were then divided into two groups: klee fans or kandinsky fans (depending on the responses of the subjects) Subsequent task was to assign dollars to another (not themselves) klee or kandinsky member. One payoff is for an in-group person (klee) another payoff is for an out-group person (kandinsky)
