Hunter-gatherer theory the way that humans have lived throughout evolution has made us develop sex differences; women are social, men are focused on success. Tendency to blame parents for everything but genes have a dramatic impact on our behavior. Genes account for about 50% of individual differences and the rest is caused by environmental forces that aren"t shared within the family. Let us see nature vs nurture in action. -biggest impact of env is not family, it"s things that happen to you and not to anyone else in your family. Flynn effect due to changes in culture and environment. High heritability rate but still impact of environment. Non-shared env has more of an impact than shared env. We have a lot of env experiences and lots are outside of the family, they shape us in a way that our family env doesn"t.
