What is abnormal behavior?

oPsychologist uses it to determine whether or not someone has good working

Most normal people perform at the average (in the middle)
Problem: some things dont fall into this type of curve.

oBehaviours of Psychopath. Psychopaths are statistically infrequent and
violate several norms. BUT psychopaths are not distressed by it.
Disability or dysfunction (or impairment)
oYou can at some points in the year have several dysfunctions. BUT if it
doesnt affect you going to work, having relationships, going to schoolYOU
ARE IMPAIRED BUT NOT DISABLED.
Unexpectedness
oKleptomaniac—wealthy people are not expected to steal things. They are
constantly afraid of having no money
