It involves cognitive psychology, how people change over time (developmental psychology), cultural psychology and the biological basis of why people do what they do: cognition is the process of studying mental processes. Build a prosthetic arm the interfaces with your brain to allow you to move your arm and pick up a cup of coffee. This is the interface between your brain and external technology.
